Description
Guana River Coastal Estuary was voted the “Best Place to Kayak” by Folio Weekly three years in a row. Located just south of S.R. A1A south in Ponte Vedra Beach and north of St. Augustine, Guana Reserve is the 25th National Estuarine Research Reserve in the U.S. offering 60,000 acres of pristine estuary to explore. Guana River coastal estuary is one of the most ecologically diverse ecosystems in the world offering incredible views of wildlife from the nesting bald eagle, to the rare roseate spoonbill and possible encounters with the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin. In the warmer months grazing along Guana River we may find the West Indian Manatee.
