Advanced Kayaking Instruction

Advanced Kayak Handling

Crossings, Rescues and Wind

This full-day course will introduce you to more advanced boat handling skills in moderate wind and current conditions. Crossings, rescues and wind training are a necessity for any kayaker looking to perform rescues in moderate weather conditions or become proficient with nautical charts and other on-water navigational tactics.

If you’d like to consolidate your learning experience, the Advanced Kayaking Instruction course may be taken in conjunction with the Intermediate Kayak Instruction course during a single weekend.
